Can I try it before I commit?
Yes. Every purchase comes with 7 days to try it on your own files. If it's not for you, email me within 7 days for a full refund.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and own that version, with every 1.x update included. There's no recurring charge.
Why does the price go up?
Launch pricing starts low and steps up as each batch of early spots is taken. It rewards early buyers — there's no countdown, the price just moves up as the tiers fill.
What about version 2.0?
All 1.x updates are included. If there's ever a paid 2.0 with major new work, it would be a separate, optional upgrade — never a forced subscription.
I'm moving to a new Mac — can I move my licence?
Yes. Deactivate on the old Mac (or just stop using it) and activate on the new one. Activation uses an anonymous per-Mac ID, not your files.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — 7 days, no hard feelings. Email the address you bought with and it's refunded through Dodo.
Do you offer an education or student discount?
Not a formal one yet. If the price is a genuine barrier for you as a student, email me and we'll sort something out.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments. Your card details go to them, never to Fileknife.
